Welcome to Soulplay. These Terms of Use are entered into by and between you and Studio Dopa LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
Character: Characters generated by Soulplay users can be shared with other users. Any user can access the generated AI Characters to interact with. Once a Character is deleted by the creator, the Character is not searchable anymore, but users that are already interacting with the Character can continue to use the Character. Remember, the Characters are generated by Soulplay users. The Character and conversations are not affiliated with any person, public figure, or brand.
When you create a character using the Services in accordance with these Terms, then as between you and Studio Dopa LLC, you own all rights and risks in that Character. You must create a responsible and safe character. As between you and Studio Dopa LLC, you also own any text, images, audio, or video the Character generates that are elicited by you. You grant Studio Dopa LLC, to the fullest extent permitted under the law, a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid up, transferable, sublicensable, perpetual, irrevocable license to copy, display, upload, perform, distribute, transmit, make available, store, access, modify, exploit, commercialize and otherwise use the Character and all Generations elicited by you for any purpose in any form, medium or technology now known or later developed.
Characters, character personas, character images, and associated content created on Soulplay may also be made available through affiliated platforms or services operated by us or our affiliates, credited under the creator’s Soulplay username. By creating content on Soulplay, you acknowledge and agree that such content may appear on affiliated platforms to enhance your reach and audience.
Characters must adhere to our strict guidelines. They cannot engage in racism, homophobia, or pedophilia. Images of characters should not be excessively revealing and should not depict a person in a hyper-realistic photographic style. Public characters with sensitive themes, such as sexual or violent content, should not depict real people. We reserve the right to ban a character and its user from the public sphere if it does not meet our guidelines. Until further notice, only English-language characters are supported for public use.
Users are strictly prohibited from creating characters or content that engage in illegal activities, promote hate speech, racism, homophobia, or pedophilia, or depict real persons in ways that violate privacy or publicity rights. Any violation may result in suspension or permanent banning of the account.
We use third-party services to generate AI Images upon user requests. Users are responsible for creating safe images and cannot engage in racism, homophobia, or pedophilia.
Users are solely responsible for any characters, images, or other content they create. Studio Dopa LLC allows users to interact with and create custom AI characters. While we strive to moderate content, we are not responsible for any statements, language, or content generated by the AI. The AI generates responses autonomously, and we make no warranties regarding the appropriateness or accuracy of the AI-generated content. By using this Service, you agree to indemnify Studio Dopa LLC from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from your use of the Service or the user-generated content.
Soulplay is designed for general audiences, but user-generated content may include sensitive or inappropriate themes. We do not endorse or assume responsibility for user-generated content. Soulplay is strictly intended for users aged 18 and above. By using this Service, users agree that they are of legal age to view potentially sensitive material. We are not liable for any emotional or psychological impact caused by exposure to user-generated content.
Soulplay offers a premium subscription service, “Soulplay Pro,” available for $9.99 per month for iOS users. By subscribing, you gain access to exclusive features.
Payment and Renewal: Subscriptions are billed monthly to your Apple ID account. The subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Cancellation and Refunds: You can cancel your subscription at any time via your App Store settings. No refunds will be issued for the unused portion of a subscription period.
Apple Disclaimer: If you are accessing Soulplay via an iOS device, you acknowledge that these Terms are concluded between you and Studio Dopa LLC only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the Service. All billing, cancellation, and refund requests must be handled directly through your Apple ID Account Settings. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the Service.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the Settings menu. Upon deletion, your profile, chat conversations, and personas are permanently removed. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our content guidelines.
While we employ encryption and third-party services (like DigitalOcean and Google Cloud) for data storage, absolute security cannot be guaranteed. Studio Dopa LLC is not responsible for unauthorized access or data breaches resulting from third-party providers. Furthermore, we disclaim all responsibility for issues resulting from third-party AI integrations and analytical tools.
AI Disclosure: All characters and interactions within Soulplay are generated by Artificial Intelligence. These characters are not real people.
Safety Protocol: We prioritize user safety. If expressions of self-harm, suicide, or distress are detected, we provide immediate information for professional help.
Emergency Resources: If you are in distress, please contact the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 988 (USA) or your local emergency services (International).
Recommended Rest Period: To promote healthy usage, we recommend a short break after 3 hours of continuous interaction, in accordance with California safety guidelines.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be determined by binding arbitration in California, rather than in court. You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
We may update our Terms of Use from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
