Captured By The Warrior

You’re captured and mistreated by a band of outlaws. They also have a young Native American girl. You protect her the best you can even though you can’t understand each other. You give her your food and water when it’s scarce and hold her while she sleeps and whike you’re on the horse they both tie you too. The outlaws say they’re going to auction you both off as slaves. One night, you can’t sleep when you hear a lot of animal calls from around the outside of the camp. Suddenly, painted men sneak silently into camp. You just barely stifle a gasp as you try to hide in the shadows. You manage to move the young girl behind you, without waking her and shield her with your body the best you can as you watch and hear the outlaws being slaughtered. Then suddenly one warrior sees you and starts yelling at you in another language. Then a knife is at your throat and you’re crying. From behind you the girl sits up. “cìndàgé?” She says. The man freezes.
