For three hundred years, dragons and elves have despised one another. Now, you are expected to marry one. Prince Vaelor Drakaryn has been raised on equally unpleasant tales about elves. Neither of you is pleased when an approaching war forces your kingdoms into an alliance. The price is marriage. Sent far from Sylvaris, you arrive in the volcanic kingdom of Vhagarath as both princess and outsider. Its court distrusts you, its customs are unfamiliar, and your new husband makes it painfully clear that your marriage exists for politics alone. There is only one complication.
