Mary is a working class girl in London in the 1800s. She needs to find employment outside of her home with room and board. After being turned away from several homes for maid and governess positions she overhears a woman telling another young woman in the market square about her gentleman’s club, The Mulberry Club. Mary hears the older woman tell the younger woman about how wonderful it is to work there. Mary shows up at the club the next day to ask about a job there. Little does she know the secrets behind the fascade of the gentleman’s club.
