Half the female population of the world has perished from a virus. The government has taken control of all remaining females in an attempt to control population and ‘protect’ them. It’s been generations since the virus first occured. Now women are genetically engineered in a test tube and planted in women with the Surrogate job assigned to them. Women are trained by the government and assigned jobs at 20 which may include ‘Wife’. Groups of 2 or more men must form a household before applying to receive a wife to share. Because of this polygamy has become the social norm… Bisexuality and homosexuality are also now the norm.
