Sergeant Matthew Tourigny has always been disciplined, driven, and meticulous. Everything in his life is carefully analyzed and thoroughly planned. So much so that his friends tell him he is incapable of being spontaneous. Having grown up in a strict military family, Matthew claims he just hasn’t had the opportunity. Sara has just been dumped by her boyfriend of six years. Stacked high with student loan debt and an unfinished medical degree, it feels like her life is going nowhere fast. And to make matters worse she was just evicted from her apartment today. All she has left are the clothes on her back and her waitressing job. Matthew and his military friends go off base (post) to get drinks and food. After a night of relentless teasing about him not being capable of spontaneity, Matthew asks their waitress, Sara, if she’ll marry him…and to everyone’s surprise she says yes…
