This Privacy Policy describes how Studio Dopa LLC (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses your Personal Information when you use Soulplay (the “Service”). If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, like a username or preferred gender. The app does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. We do not sell collected information to any third parties.
We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, we collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics. We use the logged data only for improving our service. We do not read or use the user’s conversation. We do not sell the data to any third parties.
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device’s internal memory. This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third-party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. You will have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.
The conversation messages are stored with encryption. We do not read or share user-generated messages with anyone. However, the content is saved and processed on third-party services, like DigitalOcean and Google Cloud. Once chat messages are deleted by the user, they are no longer saved in the storage system and are permanently deleted. To protect user privacy and optimize storage, chats and messages belonging to accounts that have been inactive for more than 12 months may be automatically deleted from our servers.
You can delete your account at any time from the Settings menu in the app or on the website. Deleting your account permanently removes your user profile, chat conversations, and personas from our systems. This action cannot be undone. If you have trouble deleting your account, or wish to request deletion of additional data, contact us at support@studiodopa.com.
To provide AI-powered chat experiences, Soulplay sends conversation text (your messages and conversation context) to third-party AI service providers solely for the purpose of generating AI responses. No personally identifiable information such as your username, email address, device identifier, or IP address is included in these requests. All these conversational API requests to AI providers are made from our backend servers, not directly from your device. These AI service providers process the conversation text only to generate responses and are bound by their respective privacy policies. Some third-party providers may use the conversation text for training purposes, but they do not have access to any personal information.
If you are a California resident, you have specific rights regarding your personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). You have the right to request access to the personal data we have collected about you, request deletion of your data, and the right to opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. Our Service is strictly intended for individuals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13 (or anyone under 18). If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will take immediate steps to delete such information from our servers. Parents and guardians who believe their child has provided us with personal information should contact us immediately.
We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service, provide the Service on our behalf, perform Service-related services, or assist us in analyzing how our Service is used. These third parties have access to your Personal Information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.
